What I love about being Black is we’ll never look like the plastic white Barbies on magazine. When you see us, you get what you get. You may not see us on pictures, images, soap operas along with trashy television, but when you do see us, you know we’re authentic, you know we’re real. We didn’t have our ideas confirmed through images and media mediums to know we look great. In Ancient Africa we would put our powdered makeup and dark eyeliner on, and already knowing we looked good, we just had to do it, no images and media to confirm our own confirmations, just pure knowledge. Plus, it’s just how gorgeous and how much of queens we are, compared to the albino who follow an IMAGE of what they’d like themselves to be; a Barbie doll, a little plastic girl who isn’t even real, but a beauty standard, so you wonder why no one can fit into these western beauty standards (unless they get PLASTIC surgery). Well guess what, they’ve never existed in the first place. We’ve black women have always existed, even before these false beauty standards, even then we knew what’s what is.
This is another reason to turn our TV off and leave the mainstream media. Our beauty, our livelihood is with nature and is nature, we’re not going find it in this world that promotes plastic beauty, along with plastic surgery, all happening on a TV screen. It’s where you might find coons, angry black women, and stereotypical black men, but in nature and in this world we exist, not on television screens, but right in front of you. Don’t turn your head from it.
Right now we need to focus on our own reality, not television that says it’s reality. We need to have our own experiences, and grow as a people ones again that soon we could put our minds together, and then we can start creating solutions. For now we have a lot of discussions and explaining to do and not just for ourselves, but for our own community, black mother, black fathers, and babies.
Our enemy has got so powerful as to use the tool of the media to blind us to make us more ignorant, it has retarded us as a people, we don’t even believe our own experiences, so we don’t believe we’re beautiful, you’d think it wouldn’t exist with what you see and hear on the media nowadays, it deteriorate, yet destroys. It destroys our black families, it destroy our morality, it destroys the world as things like this become the normal things to say and television becomes normal.
This is the enemy all along, and some of it’s manifestations, and you see? It wasn’t that brilliant, it was never brilliant at all it was just the imagery that reflects the illusion.
So, black women stay real and be real. Be aware of who you are, because your beauty is real beauty and its yours.
Then pat yourself on the back for being a queen because we simply just knew it. And that’s all it ever took.
